Tuesdays in October are Quiz Nights at Sprig & Fern Petone

Our quiz nights are up and running, and the first two have already fundraised $1175 to support our free mobile Community Advisor Service.

Wellington MS is host charity for Quiz Nights this October 2025, 7pm each Tuesday at Sprig & Fern Petone.

Thanks to Sprig & Fern Petone and quizmaster David Holtslag for writing and hosting the quiz and to all those who come along and support it.

While we don't need to provide quizzers as most participants are regulars, you are most welcome to come along and show your support. Unfortunately you can't book tables for quiz night, so it's best that someone gets there early to save your team a spot.

The quiz costs $5 per person to join and there are some great raffles too, with raffle prizes donated by:

• Coffee Supreme
• Silverstream Pharmacy
• Silverstream Espresso
• The Beauty Lounge

Our patron Anne La Flamme has donated a beautiful floral prize for each of the weeks so far. Some other great prizes have been donated too including a 9in1 Multipen Tool, Shott Beverages, Hangdog vouchers, Moana Road drink coasters that look like classic NZ LP’s and a SMEG baking dish. If you are able to donate a prize for one of the evenings please email Suzie.

A special thanks to all the organisations and people who have donated prizes for the month.

Thanks also to our Committee and other volunteers who will be generously donating their time to staff the quiz nights, by taking money, selling raffle tickets, scoring quiz answers and totting up scores. Its a fun way to contribute to the Wellington MS community.

We also have an opportunity to raise awareness at MS at each of the quiz evenings.
